Wood type is good type. The best, really, the more we think about it. But we’d heavily caution you against carrying it this way.
That’s because if you should drop it - silver tray and all - your type would become “pied”. This is a great piece of nineteenth-century slang for when a typesetter accidentally turns their type “into printers' pie”.
Whilst it sounds delicious, please note it remains completely inedible (and no, we haven’t considered testing this on our interns).
Printed by intern James Cassir in a fluorescent green, blue, and metallic silver on Neenah Classic Crest paper. Measures 8.5 x 14.5.
