Conference Policies (October 10, 2023)

We’re excited to welcome you back to Two Rivers for Wayzgoose. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) declared an end to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency on May 11, 2023. Per guidelines from the CDC and the Wisconsin Department of Health, we do not have any COVID vaccine or mask requirements in place for the conference this year.

Your health and safety is of paramount importance to us. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 guidelines for recommended health and safety from the CDC and other trusted state and national organizations. If needed, we will implement appropriate protocols based on the public health circumstances existing at the time of the conference.

We will add to and update this notice as needed. The dateline above will reflect any updates.

==============================

Please do not attend the Conference if you have knowingly been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19 within the ten (10) days prior to the Conference or if you are experiencing or have experienced COVID-19 symptoms within the ten (10) days prior to the Conference.

Be respectful of all present. HWT&PM is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. Harassment includes offensive comments or behavior related to gender, age, sexual orientation, mental or physical abilities, appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion or lack thereof, technology choices, deliberate intimidation, stalking, unwarranted photography or recording, sustained disruption, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be expelled without a refund at our discretion.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please tell a Hamilton representative immediately.

Photo policy

Your registration constitutes permission to use photos, audio and video recording taken of you at the event for promotional and educational purposes in connection with the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum conferences and activities, in corresponding publications, and on the Hamilton website.

Child attendee policy

The Hamilton Board and Executive Administrative Director Peter Crabbe have written the Wayzgoose Child Policy 2023 in hopes of providing clarity for parents. All Wayzgoose workshops, talks, and formal presentations are for adults only. Children may attend dinners, the Saturday morning Swap sale, and/or social break times. Note this exception: nursing parents of non-ambulatory children may have these children with them during the conference. Parents must register all children attending. You can read the entire policy and get the registration form from the Wayzgoose Child Policy 2023 document.
