Geri McCormick owns and operates Virgin Wood Type. She graduated from R.I.T. with a BFA in Painting and worked for over 25 years as a graphic designer before becoming a full time wood type maker. Virgin Wood Type makes wood type in the traditional manner, using end grain maple and a pantograph router.
