To our amazing Museum Volunteers,
You are the heart of the museum and we wouldn’t be successful without you. In appreciation of your dedication to our mission, we are excited to announce the museum will be hosting our first-ever Volunteer Exhibition. It will be featured in the museum gallery from April 1 through July 31, 2020 with items displayed in both the red kiosks (2-D artwork) and the recently refurbished glass display case (3-D artwork).
Our volunteers have a wide array of design and artistic skills, and we are very excited to share your talent with museum visitors, guests, the community and our boards (both Hamilton and the Two Rivers Historical Society). Whether you exhibit letterpress printing, fine artwork, carvings, photography, jewelry – whatever your creative passions have produced, we want to showcase your work!
You are welcome to create (and sell) new items for this exhibit or projects completed in the past. We have capacity for both 2-D work and 3-D work. Please know the size of 2-D pieces cannot be larger than 30˝ wide by 40˝ tall to fit in the cases. Regarding the sale of pieces, you set the price and take 100% of the profits.
If you are interested in showcasing (and possibly selling, though that is not a requirement) your creations, please fill out the form below. Following are important dates to consider:
- Monday, March 9 – Deadline to register
- Thursday, March 26 – Deadline to drop off your work at the museum
- Wednesday April 1 – Exhibit Opens
- Friday, April 3 – Opening Reception, 5-7pm (Free and open to the public)
Thank you for all you do for the museum and our community. We are very excited to showcase your creativity!
