Let's get inky! In this one day workshop we will explore experimental inking techniques to create one-of-a-kind letterpress prints. Taught by the museum's assistant director, Stephanie Carpenter, you will learn how to work with brayer offset inking methods, painting on the type, ghost prints, ink wiping techniques and more. We will explore ink mixing and transparency, along with nontraditional application of color.

The workshop runs from 9am until 5pm. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes that may get ink on them. The cost is $125 per person with the museum providing all the materials you need. No previous experience is needed for this workshop. We will be exploring ways to play with inking and printing techniques while on press.

Space is limited, so registration and a $65 non-refundable deposit per person is required. The $60 balance is due at the beginning of the workshop. Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted.
