Please join us Saturday, May 30th from 1 to 5 pm to print your own poster, see wood type being cut on the pantograph, and take a tour. You are welcome to explore the museum independently or participate in guided tours which are given at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. See demonstrations on the pantograph given by former Hamilton Manufacturing employee, Mardell Doubek and her apprentice type cutter, Georgie Liesch. We still cut brand new wood type here at the museum! You are also invited to participate in the printing of a poster that includes some of Hamilton’s collection of vintage wood type. The commemorative poster will be yours to keep! The Hamilton Open House event is free of charge, so join us at 1816 10th Street, Two Rivers, Wisconsin for a fun day of hands-on learning, exploration, and fun!
