Item Zero

The design and making of a book, fully drawn and produced based on movable type, in the twenty-first century.

This presentation will expose the details behind the process. We were making clear the decisions taken from the typeface selected to the glue used to finish bookbinding from concept to production.

The path will reveal how the movable type printing process influenced the layout or how the same paper of the book block happened to make the cover. Every detail is seen through an x-ray, revealing the reasoning behind every element or option taken.
