There are a few things that the intrepid letterpress printer needs every once in a while. Good strong press magnets fall into this category. After looking for just the right kind* and not finding them, we set out to have them made for us. Like most other Dry Inc tools, it just doesn't make any sense to have only a few made. We went for 1000** of these babies, so not you can get some too!
The ceramic magnet is sandwiched between two steel side plates. The physics of this are beyond me but the steel ramps up the magnetism and they are not likely to move. They can be lifted with a slight twist and a strong grip. The size is 2" x .800" x .450”. All 6 sides are 90° Angles for tight lockup alignment and the corners are rounded as to not nick your hands
