Supporting the Art and History of Wood Type & Letterpress Printing
Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum honors the Hamilton company’s legacy which is intrinsic to the history of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, our home. We are dedicated to illuminating Hamilton’s industrial history and the making of wood type. We are mindful that the museum represents a site of memory. As well as serving our local Wisconsin community, Hamilton hosts visitors from all over the world.
Your support helps Hamilton advance our mission to preserve history for creative use today. Through our classes, internships, apprenticeships, and public programs we strive to keep traditional skills alive, nurture conversation and knowledge transfer across generations, and inspire innovation as Hamilton manufacturing and those who worked there did for over 100 years.
