You now have a unique opportunity to purchase a piece of Hamilton history, made right here at the museum. These fully detailed crescent moons originate from a vintage pattern that was not suitable for use. Until, that is, our volunteer Sally Carson (who is well versed in 3D printing) created a new, usable pattern following the original!
George Liesch then expertly cut these lovely moons on the museum's pantograph and trimmed them by hand. The moons are type high, end grain maple at .918 inches and ready for letterpress printing.
