Build hands-on experience for contemporary graphic design through traditional design tools and tactile typography practice.
In this 3-session workshop you will enhance your skills, while broadening your knowledge of design history. By designing and letterpress printing a poster over three weeks you will look more closely at typography details, explore brining type and image together, and expand your composition experience. The knowledge in this class will transfer very directly to contemporary graphic design work. We will not be using computers or software in this workshop, but you will learn many skills that will strengthen and diversify your design output.
