Get prepared for Really Big Prints! Design, prep, and proof your block at the museum.
If you are interested in printing a big block at the Really Big Prints! event and want to work with others in a class setting this is a great workshop for you! We will be discussing image making, tools & materials, carving strategies, and more! Each student will need to provide their own printing block and tools to participate. The class will address the special considerations, concepts, and processes of making a large print and will lead to a matrix that can be printed at Really Big Prints! 2023. We will be proofing (test-printing) your blocks as part of this workshop. There will be time outside of class to work on your blocks at the museum.
