Have you ever wondered how to get a lot of color in one linocut print? Reductive linocut is the answer! In this 3-part class you'll learn how to layer colors to get a final print with at least 4 colors. The process is both fun and fascinating!

Linocut or woodcut experience is helpful but not required. The minimum age requirement for workshop participants for this event is 18+.
Instructor:
Mel Kolstad
Mel Kolstad is an artist, speaker, instructor and arts advocate who makes her home in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She is a printmaker and collagist, specializing in large series of tiny art. Mel has participated in many artist residencies throughout the midwest, teaches various classes around the state, and has exhibited in many solo exhibits in the Fox Cities, northern Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Indiana.

The cost is $145 with all materials provided by the museum. Space is limited, so reservations and a $75 non-refundable deposit are required. Please complete the registration form below to reserve your place. The $70 balance is due at the beginning of the workshop. Cash, credit cards and checks are acceptable.
