This event is part of our BIWOC (Black, Indigenous, Women of Color) 2024 summit at the museum. Bringing their amazing energy and artistic vision back to Hamilton, Melissa Blount, Jenn Graves, and Desiree Aspiras will be on site from March 15⎻31. During their two weeks at the museum, the three artists will be printing, offering a workshop and on-site gallery talk, and conducting a sewing circle.

A GIG Fund Grant from Arts Midwest enables us to build on the success of the 2023 BIWOC symposium by expanding the time these artists are at the museum, offering public programming, and collaborating with local partners.

This engagement is supported by the Arts Midwest GIG Fund, a program of Arts Midwest that is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional contributions from the Wisconsin Arts Board.
