TOURS

Whether guided by a museum affiliate or browsing at your own pace, a visit to Hamilton is sure to leave you with a wealth of wood type knowledge. Self-guided tours may be taken any time during regular business hours.

Learn about historic and decorative wood type from one of the world's largest collections, take a journey through the machines and tools that were used to manufacture wood type, and see working pressrooms where we teach and continue to produce letterpress printed pieces.

For more information, please call (920) 794-6272 or email info@woodtype.org.

GROUP BUS TOURS AND HANDS-ON EXPERIENCES

As a working museum we have many ways to experience and explore wood type. If you are interested in scheduling a group tour for 15 or more people it must be arranged at least 3 weeks in advance.

Tours can be scheduled for Tuesday - Saturday.

Please review Group & Bus Tours for details on choosing the tour that best suits your group. Beging planning your group or bus tour by filling out this form or contacting the museum staff at info@woodtype.org or (920)794-6272 to schedule your group tour or to request assistance with selecting a tour.

WORKSHOPS

If you are interested in taking a public workshop please check the museum calendar, which is continually updated. We also offer private full-day workshops for 6-10 people.
