Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum and Transit Residency are pleased to invite Midwestern artists, printers, and book artists (specifically those residing/based in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin) to apply for a two-week residency at the museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin to take place between June 1st and August 31st, 2017.
This residency was established to provide opportunities for artists to research and develop their own practice, to further the professional development of artists by enabling the creation and production of new work, and to foster an exchange of ideas and influences. While this marks the fourth year of our partnership, this is the third residency that TRANSIT has offered in partnership with HWT, and the first to invite artists from the broader Midwest to apply. We are very excited to work with our friends at TRANSIT to offer this residency.
