Please plan to visit us on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 1 to 5pm for the museum Open House. Come explore the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum and all it has to offer.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the history of wood type and Hamilton, experience printing demonstrations, witness wood type cutting on a pantograph and enjoy a guided tour. At 1 and 3 pm there will be guided tours and at 1:30 and 3:30 pm are wood type cutting demonstrations. All day visitors can pull a print of their own to take home. It's all FREE and open to the public. Join us for this family-friendly event. The museum is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Plan to join us from 5-7 pm on the 17th for the New Impressions exhibition reception. In our gallery we have work on display from 34 different letterpress artists from 9 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Spain, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and Italy. That evening we will be celebrating these artists and all the exciting things happening with letterpress printing. This event is also free.
