Celebrate Wisconsin Museums: FREE Museum Admission with Non-perishable Food Item

Thursday May. 21, 2015 All Day

For the 10th consecutive year the Wisconsin Federation of Museums is sponsoring Wisconsin Museums Week, May 11-17, in conjunction with International Museum Day on May 18. This exciting week long celebration focuses on the hard work and positive impact museums have on our communities. To commemorate this week, museums throughout the state will host special events, contests, exhibits, workshops and offer free or reduced admission.

We are happy to participate in Wisconsin Museum Week, so on Thursday, May 21, Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum is offering FREE admission in exchange for a non-perishable food item or personal item. All donations are designated for TREP (Two Rivers / Mishicot Ecumenical Pantry) to help fight hunger in our community. We have guided tours at 1 and 3 pm. Please come and bring a friend (and your non-perishable food item)!
